Jakarta, 4th May 2025 — Sekuya is proud to announce its participation in Ekraf Hunt 2025, a major initiative by the Ministry of Creative Economy of Indonesia (Kemenekraf) that highlights and celebrates Indonesia’s creative economy. Ekraf Hunt 2025 serves as a platform for showcasing the country’s rich intellectual property (IP) across 20 creative economy subsectors, providing both local and global recognition for the talented creators behind these IPs.

Sekuya as one of collaborator in Ekraf Hunt

This year, over 1,400 IP submissions from all over Indonesia were carefully curated, representing the diverse and innovative talent that thrives within the nation’s creative industries. Sekuya is honored to join this prestigious event alongside other standout Indonesian IPs, including Public Figure Hub, Youtz Media, Khuga, API BGI, Halomiyu, Maxdecal, IGW, 3Seconds, Infia, Artotel Wanderlust and Difotoin. 100 of Gen Z KOLs in Indonesia are attending this event, showing support to this initiative. Sekuya’s participation underscores the company’s deep commitment to elevating Indonesia’s creative potential and fostering global recognition for local talent.

Global Expansion: Sekuya’s Partnerships with South Korean IPs

In addition to celebrating local IPs, Sekuya is excited to announce its collaboration with two South Korean IPs: ThumThum and BnaBna. These partnerships represent a significant step in Sekuya’s ongoing global expansion and further solidify its position as a key player in the Gaming and Entertainment space.

Jiwan Yoon, Founder and CEO of Electural, shared his enthusiasm for the partnership, stating:

ThumThum is Electural’s signature IP and the only iconic thumbs-up character in the world. Known for its positive and uplifting nature, ThumThum has become a beloved symbol of encouragement and joy. This partnership between ThumThum and Sekuya aims to foster cultural exchange and deliver delightful experiences that resonate with audiences in both Indonesia and Korea.

Jeongsoo Jeon, CEO of Garnet Pictures, also expressed excitement about the collaboration, saying:
“We’re excited to collaborate with Sekuya and join Ekraf Hunt 2025. BNA stands for ‘No Stress’ — we turn everyday frustrations into laughter through relatable storytelling. This partnership is a great opportunity to connect cultures and bring joy to audiences in Indonesia and beyond.”

BNA (Big Nose Animals) is a Korean animated IP that humorously depicts everyday life’s stress and chaos, transforming them into moments of laughter. BNA’s non-verbal animated series, featuring six unique animal characters with oversized noses, aims to offer comic relief and emotional release to a global audience. By creating short-form episodes with universal themes, BNA aspires to become a global emotional escape brand for Gen Z and young adults.
