Sekuya (SKYA) is continuing its journey towards becoming a community currency while the company continues building businesses and ecosystems across gaming, IP entertainment, Web3 finance, and motorsport.

Founded on 19 February 2022, Sekuya started from a grassroots community and has since evolved into a gaming and entertainment company operating across multiple industries and positioning $SKYA at the center of its community strategy.

Sekuya recently completed a major token burn as part of its move toward making SKYA a community-centric currency, with the majority of the remaining supply held by the community rather than the project.

The strategy is being developed alongside several businesses and initiatives that Sekuya believes can provide practical reasons for people to interact with the ecosystem. In IP entertainment, the team continues to develop local intellectual properties through Sekuya and Tale X, connecting creators with brands, entertainment platforms, and larger audiences.

At the same time, the team is developing Asyah, a Web3-based Sharia investment platform intended to make access to real-world investment opportunities more accessible while following Islamic financial principles. Sekuya says the initiative is being developed with established Indonesian industry partners, with regulatory and compliance considerations being addressed as the platform progresses.

Another part of this evolution is happening outside the digital space through motorsport. Sekuya has been building a pathway from gaming and entertainment into racing through Senna Academy and SekuyaEVOS Racing, creating opportunities for younger generations to move from simulators and gaming into real-world motorsport.

That approach was recently reflected in VINDES Bukan Main 2026, where Sekuya racer and artist Erika Richardo competed at Sentul alongside a lineup of Indonesian young figures and celebrities including Al Ghazali, Bryan Domani, Refal Hady, Bisma Karisma, Bastian Steel, Indra Frimawan, Ciccio Manassero, Teddy Adhitya, Zee Asadel, Rachel Cia, Bianca Bunga, Shita Marino, Leya Princy, Eca Japasal, and Sisca Saras. Erika ultimately finished P1 in the women’s category, while Al Ghazali took P1 in the men’s category.

For Sekuya, Erika’s progression is representative of the company’s broader direction. She was previously known for her work as an artist, including painting race cars, before moving behind the wheel and competing as part of SekuyaEVOS Racing. The transition demonstrates how Sekuya is using entertainment and creative communities as an entry point into new industries.

Looking ahead, Sekuya sees the opportunity for $SKYA to evolve alongside this broader ecosystem. The company is not positioning the token around a single product, but around a growing network of communities, IP, entertainment, real-world activities, and businesses. The team’s view is that the next stage of SKYA will be determined by how effectively these different parts of the ecosystem can create everyday use and bring new generations into the community.
